Gabrielle Union is praising another important woman proudly mentioning her on her social media account. Check out her new post below. She is talking about the newly selected Supreme Court nominee Judge Ketanji Brown Jackson.
Gabrielle began her message and said: ‘Today’s #WCW is newly selected Supreme Court nominee Judge Ketanji Brown Jackson. President Biden’s choice to select Judge Jackson as Supreme Court nominee was an easy one due to her many accolades. In addition to her experience as a professional Judge, she also worked as a public defender and served as vice chairman of the U.S. Sentencing Commission at a time when it sought to reduce penalties for crack cocaine.’
She continued and explained: ‘She is currently being grilled in the courtroom for the Supreme Court Hearings but has answered all questions with grace. Let us lift her up in the light of goodness and hold her there.’
Someone said: ‘Im so angry its distasteful how they doing her right now. But sis is holding her ground and I love it #KBJ.’
A commenter posted this: ‘This Queen is holding her own with a beautiful smile. As I angrily sat watching the ridiculousness going on with the questions in that room that she answered that they keep bringing up I see her smile and think… don’t let them steal your joy.’
A follower said: ‘Yet she can’t answer what a woman is. It’s a simple question.’
Gabrielle Union is praising a special lady for Black History Month. Check out the post that she shared on her social media account.
‘Today’s #WCW is making history, and fittingly, during Black History Month; @speedyJ. Erin just made history at the #Beijing2022 Olympics when she shot to gold in the women’s 500m, becoming the first American to win the event since 1994 and the first Black American woman ever to win an Olympic speed skating medal. Her smile and poise lights up the screen, and on top of her immense talent as an athlete, she has the smarts to match; graduating from UF with honors as Engineering major. We are fans for life in our household Keep on shining. Let us lift her up in the light of goodness and hold her there,’ Gaby said.
